Reimbursify for Filing Out-of-Network Insurance Claims

IMC has partnered with Reimbursify.com to file claims for reimbursement for our office visit – only office visits are eligible. LDA injections, infusions and other services are not eligible for this service. IMC does not handle the billing of any labs.

Patients can create a free account on their phone and IMC will add the visit information and drop the claim. This service is only available to non-Medicare patients and patients with out-of-network benefits. You can find information on the process of creating a free account below.

Make sure you understand the terms of your out-of-network benefits. Most plans pay a percentage of their allowed fee, and there is a deductible to be met before you will be reimbursed.

We suggest you create a portal account with your insurance plan so you can follow the claim after we file it. We cannot see anything about the claim once we submit it.

How to create a Free Reimbursify Account on Your Phone

Part One: Download the Mobile App to create your Reimbusify User Account

Part Two: Sign Up

Choose “Sign Up
Enter your Email.
Select a password.
Reimbursify will send a verification to your email to click on.
Go back to the app and click on the button that says, “I clicked on the link.”

Part Three: Enter your information. You can add information about your family members later.

Enter the patient’s First Name
Enter the patient’s Last Name
Enter the patient’s Legal Sex
Enter the patient’s or parent’s Mobile Number
Enter the patient’s Date of Birth
Enter the patient’s Street Address
Enter the patient’s City
Enter the patient’s State (abbreviation)
Enter the patient’s Zip
Notification Method: Enter any/all ways you want to receive Reimbursify notifications.

Part Four: Add your insurance information.

Add your insurance ID.
Take photos (insurance cards front and back) – note that pdfs typically give us problems, so please use a photo.
Crop the photos.
“Last question”: Yes, I’m the Primary or No, I’m not the primary (patient)

“Hi, ____, You’ve joined the Reimbursify Revolution. Welcome!

Part Five: Add IMCNC to your account.

Click on Profile in the lower right-hand corner showing the person icon.
Click on EDIT PROFILE
Scroll down and click on Providers.
Click on “Find your practitioners.” NOTE! Even if Julie McGregor is not your actual provider, she is Supervising Physician all claims are correctly filed under.
Enter Practitioner NPI Number 1366653784
Julie McGregor will appear twice – choose the second listing.
Add Provider

Let Mary Pat Whaley, Practice Director, know that you have a Reimbursify account and she will file your claim. You can call or text her at (984) 248-0529 or email her at marypat.whaley@imcnorthcarolina.com. Once your first claim is filed, she will file all claims going forward without you having to notify her.
You do not need to add any further information such as visit dates or diagnoses or supply a superbill. If you do, a draft claim will be created and you should delete it as the actual claim will be filed for you once you contact Mary Pat.

NOTE: We cannot see any information about your claim once we file the claim for you. Insurance plans typically take 30 – 45 days to respond. If you do not receive information from your insurance plan about your claim after 45 days, call the Member Claims number on the back of your card or log onto your insurance plan portal to place an inquiry.
